Actor and country-pop singer and songwriter Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the crew of One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. The show showcased her first release as a country artist, propelling her 2012 debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. Her decade ended with appearances on Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside several singles from her non-album album. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer began acting in 2002, when she was still just a teenage. Born in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer has a background in the country genre. After a few guest appearances for All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed the role of Noelle Davenport in NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer went on to appear as Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was offered the role of One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its finale season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her get a recording contract from Elektra Records. In 2011 she released her modern country love song, I Won't Let Go. It was featured later on her debut album in the mid-2012 timeframe. The track was featured on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart within the Top Five. Focusing on her music career thereafter without retiring from acting she appeared in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. The second album of Kramer, Thirty One came out on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. Her album, Thirty One was the Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and the duo track that Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed in the album helped to make it number 3 at the top of the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the charts for country albums. After a two-month stint on 23rd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was in fourth place. It was also the year when she scored a contemporary-adult hit, with Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
