She served as captain of the 2012 and 2016 U.S. Olympic women's gymnastics teams. She also won a gold team medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to have two consecutive gold medals at this event. Raisman won silver medals for the individual all-around, and floor exercise. Raisman also won silver medals for the individual all around and for floor exercise.
